Obituary of Arnold M. Du Rocher II

Arnold M. Du Rocher II February 12, 1963 - July 21, 2012 Arnold M. Du Rocher II, 49, passed away suddenly on Saturday July 21, 2012 at Community General Hospital. Arnold was a resident of Syracuse and grew up in Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach, Florida. "Arnie" loved to cook and used his culinary talents generously, to help raise money for the Pompey Rod & Gun and Valley Men's Clubs, of which he was a member. He was a fun-loving, good neighbor and compassionate man with many good years ahead of him. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Arnold is survived by his companion of over 20 years, Mary D. Riter, her daughter, Stacey Waterman (John Kapusniak); grandson Mark Kapusniak; and great-grand daughter Claire Kapusniak; Arnold is also survived by his siblings, Steve of Cocoa-Beach, FL, Gary, Annette (Jim Mumper) and Scott of Nedrow, and Skip (Connie) of Tully, NY. Arnold was also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Marge Bancroft and father Arnold M. DuRocher. There will be no calling hours, it was his wish to be celebrated instead of mourned and his family will honor his wishes with at get together for family and close friends where they can drink, eat, laugh and share stories (and lies) about their dearly departed.
