Welcome to A. Dewitt
It’s never easy to lose a loved one – particularly during this time of uncertainty – and we remain committed to caring for our families compassionately and safely. In light of the recent Coronavirus outbreak, we have taken many measures to help the families we serve. While keeping our funeral homes safe and clean is important, it is equally important to find creative solutions for families who cannot meet with us in person.
If you have experienced the unfortunate loss of a loved one and are not comfortable meeting in person, we offer a variety of options for completing all the necessary arrangements “virtually” from online planning and purchasing tools, to video conferences and screen sharing, to simple phone calls. We can even complete the necessary paperwork using electronic signatures. To learn more about how we’re adapting our services for everyone’s safety and convenience, Click Here.
Throughout these times, we will continue to be available to you and our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have any questions, please call us today at (315) 446-7570. We are here for you.

Bike Donations Requested this Weekend for Annual CNY Bike Giveaway
July 25 & 26
Each year, Jan Maloff, our funeral director has hosted volunteers and led the effort to collect, refurbish, and distribute bicycles to families in our community. Over the past 25 years, our community has generously donated over 50,000 bikes. This year, we have decided to host our event a few months early to meet the needs of our isolated community members.
If you have a bike to donate, you can drop it off this Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26 at Drivers Village at 5885 Circle Drive East in Cicero from 9am to 4pm. We are accepting bikes in any condition. We will then repair the bikes and distribute them to families in need on August 25 during a drive-through bike distribution event at the A. Dewitt Memorial Funeral Home at 4612 South Salina Street in Syracuse beginning at 9am.
We are so grateful to our community for your continued support over the years. This wonderful event would not be possible without your generosity!
