Anna Mae, So many thoughts of you and all the laughter we shared for so many years.  I can't think of anyone who didn't love and cherish you, and I know you are in a safe place now.  My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time, but it is the memories, always the memories that will prevail and bring them comfort.  I thank you for touching my life in a very special way, as you did so many others.  And you blessed the world with 2 beautiful children who exemplify the essence of your soul.  God bless you for giving others so much happiness.  Love, Brenda Helen

Sometimes you just have to say goodbye…………… I held your hand, I heard you cry, sometimes you just have to say goodbye. Your life was good, you did all you could and all you should. You laughed a lot, gave all you got. Loved family and friends to the very end. You will be carried in all the hearts of those you touched. To be remembered as so unique, so special, so strong, so very much. In the end you suffered so. Filled with pain and yet not afraid. Asking for GOD to take you and for us to let you go. We prayed, we cried, we laughed, we sighed. I caressed your face and kissed your cheek. I saw your strength and that you were never weak. Your eyes met mine and I saw them shine. You needed peace. You were surrounded by love not only here but from above. Spread your wings and fly away. We’ll smile as we remember you and know that we’ll be together again some day. I held your hand, I heard you cry, sometimes you just have to say goodbye. Sharon R Checkosky, Daughter and Friend Forever          I always will love you.

Dearest Anna Mae, You have always been a beautiful reflection of the Butterflies you so loved; you were vivid, and subtle, flashing and quick, then hushed and deliberate. In a world where moral ethics withered, you shone like a paragon of good taste , with both wit and wisdom, a true Lady. I will always hold in my heart your uplifting smile, your compassionate hugs and that effervescent laugh. I will treasure all the marvelous times, and wish you "gluckliche reise" to peace, solace and liberation from pain. I am profoundly privileged to have been loved  by  you and  called  your friend. My heart will miss you.

My Dearest Sister and Best Friend, I will love you and miss you forever. We had so many good times growing up in a very special family. What stories we lived. We had great times together throughout our adult life. Christmas with Santa Mac and so much fun with our Lake Ontario group. Celebrations at the Clam Bar. Down the hatch at 4:30. Sharing your kids and extended family with me. Thank you for the memories and being a special sister.  I am so glad you are now at peace and surrounded by people we love. I will carry you in my heart. Love always. Tell everyone I love them too. Until we meet again. Your sister Leona.

Anna Mae, It's been a fun time knowing you and laughing with you over the years.  You were a unique person - there will never be another like you.  Your love and devotion for Steve and Sharon was something every child should experience.  You were always there for them.  Things are better for you now, but you will never be gone from anyone's memory. Gram, I know you are in a better place and no longer suffering, but I am selfish. I wish you were still here. I love you so much. You were so much more than a grandmother to me, you were my friend when I wanted to have fun (putting on your brown bathing suit and jumping in the lake with me, putting the worms on my fishing hook because I was too grossed out to do it, playing uno and crazy eights with me at camp, taking me to Bob's and playing shuffleboard with me, taking me to DJ's for frog legs, sitting on your yellow couch at camp and telling me stories of you and Sharon and Dad when they were young, the list is endless). You were my Mom when I needed direction (I promise to try to keep my elbows of the dinner table and I'll try not to bite my nails). You taught me the value of hard work, but most importantly you taught me how to love life and have fun. I love you Gram and I hope you are drinking a highball with Sal & Mary Ellis right now.
