Obituary of Janet Leigh Perez

In Loving Memory of Janet Leigh Perez, 11/01/1956-08/31/2023. Janet, a dearest mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, has peacefully found her eternal rest, joining her mother, father, and her beloved German Shepherd, Taco, in the heavenly embrace. She passed away peacefully in her home on August 31, 2023. Janet is survived by her two sons, Jean-Paul (April) and Tristan Peter Perez, grandson, London Buil Perez, her two sisters, Barbara Bushnell, Dorothy Fairbanks, nieces, Rachel (Deke) Murphy and Julia Fairbanks and nephew, Vincent Saccocci. Her legacy will forever be remembered and celebrated.

Janet was a woman of many passions and interests. She had an unwavering love for large wolf dogs, horses, travel and gourmet cooking. A dedicated scholar, Janet was always eager to expand her knowledge and expertise in her field as a Registered Nurse, holding a Master of Science in Nursing, and a Nurse Practitioner certification. Janet's infectious laughter was one of her trademarks; she had a unique gift for finding humor in the everyday and sharing it with those around her.

Janet Perez's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May her spirit find eternal peace, and may her laughter continue to resonate in our hearts forever.

A memorial service to celebrate Janet's life will be held at Berean Calvary Chapel, 1 Calvary Road, Kirkville, NY 13082 on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from noon to 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the CNY Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in Janet's honor.
