Obituary of Mary Anne DeLong
Mary Anne DeLong passed away at her home in Long Island City, NY on February, 10, 2020. Mary Anne was born in Syracuse on November 17, 1941 to Eve Ann (Sposato) and Jacob Edward Delong.
Mary Anne lived over 50 years in New York City where she worked in the textile industry as an International Import and Export Specialist. Mary Anne was a past member to the Beta Sigma Pi, and the New Worlds for Children Program of NYC. Mary Anne taught ELS to Chinese children. Mary Anne was a member of the DAR Chapter of New York City.
Mary Anne was a beloved sister, and is survived by her brother Edward of Syracuse, Stewart of Port Hueneme CA, Barry (Syracuse), and her sister’s Christine (Peltier) of Fort Lawn N.C. & Cynthia (Allen) of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and several nieces and nephews.
Mary Anne is predeceased by her parents and a brother Franklin. The Dewitt Memorial Funeral Home oversaw burial services at the Jamesville Walnut Grove Cemetery. A Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Summer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local ASPCA.
