Obituary of Robert Louis Stephenson

Robert Louis Stephenson, age 76, passed away on December 5, 2017, at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. He was born in Theresa, NY, son of the late Norman and Hatie Stephenson. Bob is survived by many, including his first wife, Susanne Staie, and their 5 children: Bobbi Anne, Monica (Christopher) Kampnich, Robert (Tonia) Stephenson II, Colleen Richardson, and Norman (Brandi) Stephenson, as well as their children and grandchildren. He is predeceased by his second wife, Elaine Coutermarsh, and a stepson; and survived by 4 of his step children and their families. Bob was born and raised in Theresa, New York, with his four brothers [Ronald (Roslyn), Richard (Barbara), Mark (Sandy), and Jack (Lisa)] and four sisters [late Norma Jean Curtis, Rosemary (Marvin) Kervin, Sue (Arnold) Thompson, and Deborah (Roy) Slate]. He was a retiree of the New York Air Brake and Veteran of the US Army. His family and friends will be gathering from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 to celebrate his life at the Brownville Legion.
