Obituary of Pauline Thomas Doerner

Mrs. Pauline Thomas Doerner passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from a long illness after a remarkable long, healthy life. She was 94. A wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Pauline was born December 26, 1922. A Tuscarora Native American, she was raised on the reservation in Buffalo, New York. Soon after graduating from Bryant and Stratton College, she met and married her late husband, Robert S. Doerner. They settled in Fabius-Pompey, NY, where they raised a family. She also enjoyed her gardening and tending to her flower beds. After her husband's passing in 2001, she eventually settled in Mars Hills, NC, to live with her granddaughter and family. Pauline is survived by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Sherie Chrysler, Mrs. Vicie Nowland, Mrs. Candee Chrysler, Mrs. Marlene Musarelli; sons Mr. Glenn Doerner and Mr. Kenneth Doerner.
