Obituary of Jessie Rutledge

Jessie Rutledge, 102, of Syracuse, New York, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at home. He is survived by his sons, Joe and John Rutledge and Curtis Hood; daughters, Mary Easter, Nell Baxter, Christine Rutledge and Asia Rutledge; sister, Gertrude Lewis; 32 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and 32 great-great-grandchildren. Calling Hours will be Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Greater New Testament Baptist Church, 1121 S. Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13202 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. Interment will be at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Dewitt, NY.
