Obituary of Demetre Elieff

Demetre "Jim" Elieff passed away July 7, 2013 at the age of 82. Survived by two brothers, George and Carl; along with many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Special thanks for his 30 years of service to this country and most notably his decorations for being part of the Chosin Few during his four years in the Korean War. Jim loved to travel and could often times be found on the road or with a fishing rod in his hands. He will be missed by the family. A calling hour will be held at A. Dewitt Memorial Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 4612 S. Salina St. Syracuse NY on Thursday, July 11th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a military service at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2 p.m.
