Obituary of Dorothy Strodel

Dorothy Strodel passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 14, 2015, just two days shy of her 98th birthday. Dorothy was a long-time resident of Cicero, NY. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, came to Syracuse, NY with her parents and brothers in the late 30's and after her marriage, lived in Liverpool, NY for 20 years prior to moving to Cicero, NY where she lived for over 50 years. She had been a long-time employee of General Electric in Liverpool, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of 75 years, Frank Strodel and her son, Richard Strodel Surviving are her son, Donald of Cicero, NY and a daughter, Diane (Graham) of San Diego, CA, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and a nephew. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
