Obituary of Doris Jean Wheeler

D. Jean Wheeler October 22, 1951 - December 20, 2012 Doris "Jean" Wheeler, 61, of Lacona, New York, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2012. Born in Oella, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John and Doris MacKenzie. She was a fifth degree black belt in Shotokon Karate, and was self employed for many years at her own business, Top Class Martial Arts. She is survived by her loving husband, John Wheeler; one son, Ryan Vincent Wheeler; one daughter, Tina Michelle Wheeler-Vizy (Dr. Edward); three brothers, John William MacKenzie, Reverend Robert MacKenzie and Benny Fisher; one sister, Linda Shipley (Jackie); and one grandson, Marcus K. Vizy. The family would like to extend special thanks to the wonderful care provided by the Oncology floor at Upstate University Hospital.
