My deepest condolences to the family, may you find comfort in prayer and the beautiful words of Isaiah 25:8 where God promises us that He will soon eliminate all death and suffering. Acts 24:15 speaks of a resurrection, a time when God will reunite us with our loved ones again! I hope this helps bring some comfort in this time of sorrow. https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODBible/pub-jwbcov_201405_5_VIDEO

To the family of Virginia: I am sorry for the loss of this wonderful woman. I worked with her for many years at Tops on Burnet Ave. She always had good advice and I listened to her when my husband and I started dating. He worked there too and we have been married for 34 years. He also had nothing but respect for Virginia. She was one of his favorite people at work. My younger sister started her career at Tops and found Virginia to be a good mentor. She was there for all of us, a steady presence in our daily routines. I remember Virginia talking about her daughters from time to time. She loved you both so very much. She was honest and had good principles. You just knew you could trust her and she earned the respect of many of us.  She also had a great sense of humor. I lost touch with her after I transferred to Mattydale but occasionally would hear how she was doing from people who knew us both. Time slips by so fast. She looked the same in her picture as when I knew her.  My sincere sympathy goes to all of her family. We are sorry for your loss. Diane and Charlie Hunter

I too went to high school with Virginia.  We worked on the school newspaper together.  She was a typist.  She had a quirky sense of humor--made me laugh!  I did not recognize her name in the obit, but the smile caught my eye.  That never changed over the years!! I hope it has been passed onto someone in the family.  Prayers of comfort to you all.

Tammy & Pam - Prayers to you and the family.  Ginger was my friend for over 38 years.  You know the crazy stuff we used to do.  I keep thinking back to all the fun we had.  I will always have those great memories. She lived life her way.  May she be at peace now. When you see something that reminds you of her, know she is there with you. My deepest sympathy to and your children.  Keep your memories of her alive  for your grandchildren.  Love to you both.  Sharon, Louie & Nicole
