Obituary of Hoyt Anderson

Hoyt Anderson, of The Valley, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013 after a recent illness. Hoyt was born in Fulton, the son of Bruce Anderson and the late Ethel Anderson. He was a long-time state employee and had retired from the New York State Fair. Hoyt was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Anderson and his nephew, Andrew West. Survivors include his father, Bruce Anderson of Alabama; his sister, Caroline West; nephew, Christopher West; niece, Angela Moltrup; cousins, Sherry Bell of Baldwinsville and Bonnie (Chip) Whipple of Tennessee; and a host of extended family members and very special friends. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 6 p.m. Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service at the A. Dewitt Memorial Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York 13205. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Anglers Association of Onondaga (Fence Project at Webster Pond), 2004 Valley Drive, Syracuse, NY 13207.
