Obituary of Ralph L. Trotman

Today, we celebrate the life of Mr. Ralph L. Trotman. Ralph Trotman was the son of the late Mr. John Trotman and the late Mrs. Della (Wiggins) Trotman. Ralph Trotman was born on May 8, 1932 in Gates, North Carolina. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, May 11, 2013 In the late 1940's, Ralph attended Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. Ralph then enlisted in the United States Army as he felt a civic duty to serve his country. He received an honorable discharge. In the 1960's, Ralph worked for Solvay Processing Plant in Solvay, New York. He then became a Barber where he worked at Collins Barber Shop for many years. He enjoyed football games, loved building remote model planes, traveling, watching movies and playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Ira Trotman; brother, John Trotman (Joan) Trotman; his children, Della Joy Trotman-Wilkins (David), Todd Trotman, Donyale (Lavern) Trotman and Derrick (Chanika), stepchildren, Ginger Watkins-Taylor, Jackie Andrews, Judson Watkins, Chris Andrews, Terry Watkins and Willie Hall; grandchildren, Nichole Trotman, Todd Trotman Jr., Derrick, Derricka, Derrion, Jaildel, Kairell, Imani, Nashawn, Devonte Trotman and Christopher Andrews Jr.; two great-grandchildren, two nieces, and other relatives and friends.
