Obituary of Bobby Gene Brown

Bobby G. Brown, 67, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was employed with Carrier Corp for 37 years. Bobby is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mattie Brown; four sons, Daquan Brown, Dwight Jones, Robert Williams and Roderick Brown; four sisters, Estella Brown of Pompono, FL, Gail Jackson of Philadelphia, PA, Elaine Jackson of Philadelphia, PA, Patrica Jackson of Philadelphia, PA; four brothers, William Moore of Philadelphia, PA, Willie Jackson of Philadelphia, PA, Charles Jackson of Philadelphia, PA, David Jackson of Jacksonville, FL ; and eight grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at A. Dewitt Memorial Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse with a funeral service to immediately follow at noon. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
