Obituary of James A. Flynn

James A. Flynn Sr., son of late parents, Richard and Mary Ann Flynn, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 peacefully at age 83. After attending CBA, he sold tickets on the New York Central railroad system. He then volunteered for the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. Upon returning from Korea, Mr. Flynn ran a bar in East Syracuse called the Highland. He was the owner/driver of two Ferrari's which he raced in the Northeast/Midwest as well as Canada. James was also a member of MENSA, and chairman of Irish Northern Aid for several years. He was an accomplished classical pianist, and enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his daughter, Suzanne (Jay); his son, James (Ginamaria); and several nieces and nephews. Services were private.
