Obituary of Myrtle McBride

Myrtle McBride, 78, died due to a brief illness on March 28, 2013. She was born in Pace, Mississippi to Livingston and Myrtle Jones and lived in Syracuse, New York for over 50 years. She is a retiree of Loretto Home Health and Rehabilitation Center. She has spent her life helping people in one capacity or another. She is survived by her sisters, Hattie (Kevin) Stephens and Gloria "Annette" (Kurwin) Sanders; brothers, Lee Jones and Wilmot Jones; daughters, Loretta McBride and Jackie McMillan; sons, Burnett (Minnie) McBride, Rodney McBride and Perry (Kisha) Wilson; several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and two daughters, Earlene Shields and Viola Grealish. She has touched many lives and will be loved and remembered by many. Services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Christ Missionary Baptist Church, 319 W. Kennedy Street, Syracuse, New York 13205 with wake hours from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and funeral proceedings immediately after.
