Obituary of James DiNicola

James DiNicola, 58, of Syracuse, New York passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 27, 2014. Jimmy retired from the Syracuse Department of Public Works after 33 years. Survived by his wife, the former Leona Thomas; mom, Jane Pitonzo DiNicola; children, Tricia Goodman (Sean), James DiNicola , Leslie Holloway; brothers, Samuel DiNicola, Joseph DiNicola; sisters, Gina Vespi (Mike), Angela DiNicola, Maria Grenga; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father, Samuel DiNicola. Calling hours will be held Monday, November 3, 2014, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. at A. Dewitt Memorial Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse, New York 13205.
