Obituary of Elaine Hall Eustice

Elaine Hall Eustice, 86, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2013 surrounded by her family. Elaine graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta with her teaching degree, in 1950. She retired from Lyncourt School after 33 years of dedicated service. She was active in numerous organizations including the AAUW, DAR, and Girl Scouting. She held office as President for the AAUW Syracuse Chapter during the 1970's. Elaine is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harold Eustice, two daughters, Christine Downs and Linda Simonetta; five grandchildren, Annalies Goodwin, Daniel Downs, Anthony, Andrew, and Laura Simonetta; and one great-granddaughter, Samina Simonetta. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation, P.O. Box 30783, Tucson, AZ, 85751.
