Surviving are his brother, Ernest Mader; sister, Michelle Schaap; niece, Samantha Schaap; nephews, Michael and Christopher Schaap; grandnephews, Aaron J. and Christopher Jr. A calling hour will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at A. Dewitt Memorial Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13205 with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m.
