Obituary of Ruth Virginia Wallace

Ruth Virginia (Ayers) Wallace, 89, of Syracuse, New York died on December 18, 2015 after a brief illness. Born in Canton, New York, she was the daughter of Horace and Mary (Perry) Ayers. She graduated from Canton ATC and moved to Syracuse to work at Easy Washer. Ruth married Albert Wallace in 1949. He predeceased her on September 11, 1979. She worked for many years downtown at Flah's. She had a life-long love of the Yankees and bingo. Ruth is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen (Stanley) Zacharewski and Mary Louise Wallace; two grandchildren, Nicholas (Jannette) Zacharewski of Florida and Rachael (Jason) McLoud of Prattsburgh, New York and four great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held in the Spring.
