Obituary of Fannie Catania

Fannie "Bonnie" Catania April 3, 2012 Fannie Bonnie Catania passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong resident of DeWitt, NY, a parishioner of Holy Cross Church in DeWitt, an avid sports fan (especially of the New York Yankees and of all Syracuse University teams), along with possessing a strong drive and talent in any and all card and club games. Fannie was predeceased by her husband, Frank, and her sister, Anna. Fannie is survived by her sister, Jean (Joe) Tupper of Solvay; and brothers, John Fantauzzi of Florida and Tom, Joe, George, and Fran Fantauzzi of Syracuse. She is also survived by her sons Donald (Susan) of South Carolina, and Ronald (Deborah) of West Monroe, NY; grandchildren, Tom, Kate, Nick, Andrea, and Jeremy, and several beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 13, at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church in DeWitt. A burial will immediately follow at White Chapel Memory Gardens in DeWitt. Contributions may be made, in memory of Fannie, to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Central New York, 100 Metropolitan Park Drive, Suite 400, Liverpool NY 13088.
