My deepest condolences to the family, may you find comfort in prayer and the beautiful words of Isaiah 25:8 where God promises us that He will soon eliminate all death and suffering. Acts 24:15 speaks of a resurrection, a time when God will reunite us with our loved ones again! I hope this helps bring some comfort in this time of sorrow. https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODBible/pub-jwbcov_201405_5_VIDEO

Hello, my name is Carlein. I am a Bible teacher. I am sorry for your loss. A scripture that has given me much comfort is Revelation 21.4 which promises that one day death shall be no more. I hope this truth brings you comfort also.

Gratitude to Virginia. May the Great Spirit shelter her from headwinds on this next leg of the flight plan. I see a grainy photo of the petite 1940s fashionista standing tall against HER transport plane. (Step aside, boyz.) Virginia quietly shared markers of her colorful life:  From golden images of the overdue Congressional Honor Medal and her Peacemaker thoughts committed to World Peace News . . . to a Biplane Santa mobile she gifted to my holiday wreath and tales shared only with other Cat Crazies. :-O My deepest sympathies to Charles, his kind stepson and Virginia's local family who took such good care of her. Special sympathies to Tanner and David Gay who shared Aunt Virginia with me, an outsider.

Dearest Cousin Virginia, You were such a comfort to me after my dad's death.  You & he were friends all through childhood and beyond, and the two of you shared a positive outlook on life, a hopefulness, a kindness, and a love of people, especially family.  When Susan & I visited you in Syracuse, you made us feel like the two most important people in the world!  Susan & I were proud to travel to Washington D.C. to accept your congressional medal.  Finally, we will miss your long, carefully written letters.  Sad to say, but you were the very last person with whom we exchanged real old-fashioned letters with envelopes and stamps!  An era has ended.  I picture you in the afterlife free of pain, flying, smiling, visiting everyone.  We'll leave a light on for you.

Virginia, You were a true heroine in every sense of the word and you are forever etched in my heart. I know you are back in the cockpit of a plane, soaring through the bluest of skies with your beloved Merlin by your side, reading you Shakespeare while you navigate. To her family whom she deeply adored: My deepest condolences. The world truly lost a great one.
