Obituary of Vida Jane Fellows

Vida Jane Fellows, 79, said toodaloo when she received her "Promotion" with the Lord in her home surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, March 25, 2016. She was a Reading and Math Resource Teaching Assistant with the Syracuse City School District for over 20 years. She is survived by her children, Kathleen Raper (Bob Fish), Zebulon, NC; Ronald (Juanita) Fellows Jr., Walworth, NY; Martin (Gale) Fellows, Niagara Falls, NY. She had 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren: Gary Willette (Addison, Marcus); Genevieve Willette; Lee Raper (Kyleigh, Abagail, Murphy); Shanna Raper (Katlyn, Emily, Allison); Bradley Fellows; Amanda Millar (Jaylee, Hayden, Riley); Jamie Fellows (RJ, Lukas); Patricia Peters (Kayla, Paxton); and Victoria Fellows. She has 5 surviving siblings: 2 sisters, Anna (Bob) DeCook, Susan Griffith; 3 brothers, Lee (Kay), Ronald, and Stephen (Cecelia) Stoudenmyre. Vida has numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Pre-deceased by her husband of 58 years, Ronald J. Fellows Sr.; parents, William and Genevieve Stoudenmyre; brothers, William and Donald Stoudenmyre; and grandchild, Jessica Raper. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m. at A. Dewitt Memorial Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY. Interment will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse, NY at 11 a.m.
