Obituary of Marsha Kay Quilty

 

Marsha Kay Quilty, 80, of Sarasota, Florida and Marcellus, New York, joined the Lord on Thursday April 20th, while surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was born on November 13, 1942 in Northumberland, Pennsylvania to the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Brooks) Casselberry. In 1958, she graduated from Blodgett Vocational High School, and afterward went on to work at Skaneateles Savings Bank. In 1987, her and her husband Benjamin moved to Sarasota, Florida. There, she was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2756.  She also was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Moose, Syracuse.  Marsha loved her family dearly, and always looked forward to their visits to Florida. She also loved Elvis, and will forever be one of his greatest fans. She will be sorely missed by many, but remembered for having a big heart and friendly soul along with a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. 

She is survived by her son Timothy (Tracy) Quilty of Camillus, her grandson Christopher (Nicole) Quilty of Camillus, and a great grandson, Elliott Quilty. She also left behind a cousin Judy Kauffman along with several nieces and nephews, best friends, Nancy and Judy. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Benjamin, and her sister Loretta Scheffley. 

A private memorial service will be held at a later date in State College, Pennsylvania. 

Contributions in Marsha’s memory may be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2756 in Sarasota, Florida or the Fraternal Order of the Moose.
