Obituary of Shirley Joan Mullin
Shirley Joan (Hall) Mullin, 87, of Memphis, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 29, 2018. She was born in Essex Junction, Vermont, the daughter of Clarence and Isla Hall. Growing up, Shirley lived at a few other locations in the New England area until graduating from Deering High School in South Portland, Maine. One of her fondest memories as a young girl was the adventure of roller skating downhill on bone jarring cobblestone streets. She moved to Central New York after marrying LeRoy Mullin to give attention to raising a family. Shirley was gifted with a warm heart and will be remembered for providing a comfortable home for her family as well as making a temporary place to stay for several relatives and close friends over the years. She enjoyed challenges and became an expert at solving Sudoku and other complex types of puzzles.
Shirley is survived by her four children, Gary, Craig, Kathy Casey (Robert), and Michael; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She lived a full and long life and will be lovingly missed by us all.
There will be no calling hours or service according to her wishes.
