Obituary of William E. Doupe Sr.

William (Bill) E. Doupe Sr., 78 of LaFayette went to be with his loving wife, Alfa on April 26, 2021.  Bill retired in May, 2010 from the Town of LaFayette.  His favorite past time was playing cards with his siblings and friends.  He always has several projects going on, loved gardening, NASCAR and the Yankees.  He also enjoyed breaking in new staff at the diner, by giving them a hard time.  His sense of humor will be dearly missed.

Bill is predeceased by wife, Alfa and grandson, Matt Clemens Jr., and five siblings.

Bill is survived by four children, Bill (Joanna) Doupe, Mitsy (Dave) Williams, Ross (Melissa) Doupe and Lee (Toni) Doupe; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; siblings, Jackie, Richie, Bradley, Bobby, Kathy and Nancy will forever miss Billy.  He is also survived by dozens of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Bills Life will be Saturday, May 1^st from 1 to 4PM at the LaFayette VFW.
