Obituary of Muriel Price

Mother Muriel Price, 93, was ushered into eternal rest by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Mother Price was preceded in death by her parents, James and Martha Mackey; her husband of 71 years, the late Reverend Ezzie Price; three children, James Price, Shirley Price and Ralph Price; one grandson, John Bender Jr.; one son-in-law, Fred Smith. She leaves to cherish her memories; five daughters, Vivian Bender (John) of DeWitt, NY, Genevieve Shuma (Boaz) of Nairobi, Kenya, Ann Price and Patricia Williams, both of Syracuse, NY, and Gloria Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada; two sons, Robert Price (Rabb Alamin) and Arlington Price, both of Syracuse, NY; one daughter-in-law, Carrie Price; two sisters, Janie Watson Hill of Jensen Beach, Florida and Emma Rice of Cleveland, Ohio; a special niece, Luvenia Cowart; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be Thursday, February 23, 2017, 11 a.m. to noon at Bread of Life COGIC, 311 Burnet Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13203 with funeral services to follow at noon. in the church.
