Obituary of Matthew Byrd, Sr.
Matthew Byrd, Sr., 84, of Syracuse, passed away on May 14.
He is survived by: his wife, Donna Byrd; three children: Matthew Jr., Syeisha, and Shondar; 14 grandchildren; one great grandchild; four sisters; best friend, Glen Moore; many nieces, and nephews.
Shorty was reverently known as the "Mayor of Slocum Ave", and was a kind and loving man.
