Obituary of Dr. Paul A. Kerschner
Dr. Paul A. Kerschner, 69, of Manlius, New York passed away March 29, 2020 peacefully at home. Paul attended Stony Brook University and went on to graduate from National Chiropractic College. He practiced in Long Island, Cortland, and opened his own practice in Syracuse in 1981. He continued practicing until his death. He was an avid collector of model trains and loved to spend hours in his shop refurbishing them and building layouts. He volunteered at Temple Adath Yeshurun, with Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and Boy Scouts of America. He was the biggest New York Islanders and Mets fan and enjoyed going to Syracuse Football and Basketball games; but more than anything, he cherished his family, especially tea parties with his granddaughter Alissa.
He is predeceased by his father, Samuel.
In keeping with our Governor's mandates, services will be private under the direction of Cantor, Fran Berg.
Burial will be at Frumah Packard Cemetery.
Paul is survived by his wife, of 38 years, Deb; daughter, Jennifer (Jon) Zimmer; son, Jared; his mother Pearl; brothers, David and Marc (Shelley); and granddaughter, Alissa Zimmer.
Donations in Paul's memory may be made to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Syracuse or the New York Mets Foundation.
Arrangements entrusted to Ginsburg-Maloff Funeral Home.
