Obituary of Martha M. Strunk

Martha M. Strunk, 54, of Truxton, passed away on Tuesday February 25 peacefully after a very brave battle against cancer.  She is survived by her mother Sue Strunk and her brother Peter Strunk, and was predeceased by her father Hank Strunk.

Martha was a partner at On The Rise Bakery in Syracuse, and later worked for many years at Syracuse Cultural Workers.  She enjoyed her beloved dogs, reading, gardening, and helping others.  Her sweet manner and easy smile brightened many lives.

A celebration of Martha's life will be held later in May.
