Obituary of Bonnie Dettor

Bonnie Dettor passed away peacefully on Saturday October 6, 2018.  Born in Bradford PA to Louis Onofrio and Colette Cantwell, Bonnie had a career in show business with her first husband Leon Andre and sister Joette Henry.  She performed with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Jack Benny at venues such as the Latin Quarter and the Copacabana for many years for NYC and international audiences.

Upon the passing of Andre in 1969, Bonnie married attorney Robert Dettor and relocated to Syracuse NY.  Bonnie was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1998 and by her sister Mary Alice Hegman in 2010.

Bonnie is survived by her beloved son, Louie, daughter-in-law Christine and three cherished grandchildren, Julia, Andrew and Alexandra Dettor.  Bonnie’s sister Joette Henry of Scottsdale, AZ, survives her along with five nephews, Gregory Henry of Bradford PA, Walter (Beth) Henry of Avon Lake, OH, Stephen Henry of Scottsdale AZ,  Peter (Sandra) Henry of Nashville TN, and William (Lisanne) Hegman of Huntington VT.  Bonnie is also survived by her sister-in-law Eleanor Peters, niece Leslee Peters and nephew Ron Peters, all of Syracuse.
